Andy Buckley
Head of Research
Andy has worked in research for sixteen years, following a period as Commercial Manager at M&S.
Andy started his research career in the Financial division of ORC International, running large syndicated tracking studies and the financial omnibus. He then moved to B&MR where he did a wide range of quant and qual consumer, B2B and industrial research.
A brief spell at Ci Research was followed by a return to B&MR, where Andy specialised in Employee Engagement research for 8 years (and for 5 years of that time headed up the Division). He is a published author in recognition of his expertise in the field.
Whilst Andy was at B&MR, the organisation twice changed ownership, firstly to Wirthlin Worldwide and then Harris Interactive. For the last two years of his time at Harris, Andy was the Deputy Head of the Northern research office.
Andy joined Join the Dots in late 2008 to head up the Online Communities team. He has a BSc in Management from Aston University and is an Associate MRS member.
What’s your first memory?Being told to sit on the bottom step by my Mum for being naughty.

What’s your biggest achievement?My daughter. A vastly improved version of me
